They sell these closet hanging shoe racks at places like Walmart, Target and IKEA.
No more then $15 ea. and often in different colors. Some also havedrawers that you can insert into the space. I prefer the
no-drawer version for my clothes and the drawer version for my shoes.
For the space of less then a foot on my closet bar, I can store ALL of my t-shirts and my shorts. Again, like my shelves, I can see everything in the stack.. a fact that I love. Small things like underwear and socks can be stored in the optional drawer and just slid into one of the spaces. I like to store those items in decorative baskets on my shelves...
